i have a brand new, few days old iPhone 6s Plus. It takes up to 1min for devices to see iPhone as a hotspot.

This was never an issue with Galaxy phones s3, s5, s7, which took up to 5 sec to see the phone as a hotspot.

Half the time, I have to turn off and turn on the hotspot on the iPhone for devices to see it in wifi settings.

This is this a norm for iPhone? Running latest iOS 10.3.3. I have no experience with previous iOS versions when it comes to hotspot on iPhone.

Thanks in advance.

Nope, not normal. It's effectively instant on my 6 (and was the same on my 4S).

Unfortunately I don't know what to suggest.

Good to know and that's all I needed to know.

Going back to Apple Store.

Thank you for your time.
