So today on House, two interesting Mac products here (nothing new):

1. 15" Macbook Pro

2. iPhone (Which belonged to Wilson) and this wonderful quote as it was wrapped as a "Secret Santa" present "now either this didn't cost $25 or I'm seriously starting to doubt Steve Job's business strategies"

Haha i just saw this too and thought about making a thread until i saw this one. Fox and apple seem to maybe have a close relationship.

ever watch entourage... everyone uses imacs, or how about wwe, they have a 15 inch macbook pro on the commentators table, or how about the fact most commercials use a mac and often just get rid of the glowing apple
h and r block for example has a guy working on a mac,

yes part of it is when u see the apple logo your like wow alot of marketing goes into apples, and than othertimes when you dont see the apple logo its just wow they love the way the apple products look.... sexy

so yeah spotting an apple on tv and movies is like picking out someone who is wearing shoes.... lol its common

What is so surprising? Almost every computer seen on tv, from shows to commercials is some Apple laptop or an old imac. The ONLY show I know of that doesnt use macs in their show is 24, which seems to have a deal with Dell to place the Dell logo in a bunch of shots at CTU (that show has pretty shameless product placement, Ford is by far the worst.. followed by Motorola). The only difference between this episode of House and every other show on TV is that this time they didnt change the Apple logo on the back of the computer to something else, they also used a real OS this time, its rare to see OS X or Windows on tv, its usually some badly done fake OS.

House doesnt seem to care about faking products, theyve shown quite a lot of real competing products on that show with no noticeable bias. The more apparent ones are handheld consoles, hes gone through GBA's, a DS, and now he plays PSP on the show. Obviously they dont have any kind of contract with any brands.

As for Entourage, if you watch the season 3 dvd commentary with Doug Ellin, he talks about how they have no deal with apple but he chooses to use them on the show because they are what he uses. For 24, I have noticed the heavy use of Dell and Ford and Toyota in the recent seasons but I think there maybe a couple Apple displays around CTU.

Infact 24 does use desktop macs and some of there laptops are macs. Only Dell monitors are used, For the first 3 seasons they used Apple Cinema displays and G4 Cubes and Power Mac G4's and no name brand laptops.:)

Nip/Tuck on FX also almost always uses Apple products. Both the main characters and their love interest have iPhones, their kids use iMacs while they use MacBook Pros. On Smallville Clark uses a Mac Pro. Which I find kinda funny cause they don't have alot of money according to the show, yet he has the most expensive mac! I guess they think most people wouldn't notice. And i've noticed in some shows the bad guys use PCs and the good guys use Macs. Clark uses the Mac Pro and Lex uses a PC. When Lex was still good however, he used a PowerBook. Some other shows do this too, but I can't remember.

at then end of the show I was waiting for it to say Apple on it's sponsor list but it still had HP and Dell, and that made me laugh
