So I noticed after discussing iPhone OS 4.0 in the Keynote, Jobs did not mention anything about a 4th gen update to the hardware. Now What does everyone think of this? I know he probably does not want to bring any details out yet, but do you think Apple will release the 4th gen update to iPhone when iPhone OS is released or later?

iPhone 4 will arrive in late June/early July, with the iPhone OS 4.0 software.

This year's WWDC is reported to be held on June 27 - July 2.
If these are the correct dates, we can expect a June 27 announcement of iPhone 4 (iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS were all announced at the Day 1 keynotes of WWDC), with an early July release.

they never said they were going to announce

anything other then firmware 4.0 so it should be no shock that they didn't say anything. last year it was firmware 3.0 same way. you got a couple months yet!
