So if I've got a 'full' home screen, with widgets and icons, and want to add a widget to an existing one to create a stack, how do I do that without obliterating my layout? To clarify, I'll create a new widget on the Today view, and then when I drag it over to a home screen on top of another widget to create a stack, the end result will be icons and other widgets all moved around. So I get my stack, but then have to fix everything else that was moved as a result of the drag. I must be missing some technique.

I ended up having to add widgets to a clean screen 1st and then drag over the apps and put them where I wanted.

What I should be able to do is force touch on a widget and have an option to add/create a stack.
