What percentage of your income do you cough up for your Internet connection?
For me it is about 2.4% of my present income for mobile broadband….. Nominally 3G, supposedly good for up to 7.2 Mb/sec, in use I seldom see better than 350 kb/sec.
It is affordable because rent for my apartment is quite cheap (at about 14% of my income), but it doesn't have a phone, cable, or wifi connection. However it is conveniently located, has good natural light and ventilation, and great views.
