The only thing really holding me back is the back color.

But I just thought of what would make it perfect. Instead of the weird coffee-ish colored glass... they should’ve made the back glass black, with the Apple logo and name the same color gold as the sides.

Man that would look good.

I feel like that would give it an even more premium look. I hope somebody can whip up a photoshop like that.

this color gold for the back.

That would look great but it would no longer be the gold colored iPhone. It would be the black one. :)

it does look like they mixed the silver color x back with slight parts of gold thats why I dont like it. like a mixture of the two and just too muted

The stainless steel would still be gold.

I mean the silver phone isn’t called the white one, is it?

The back looks peach/rose gold to me.

Some of the videos from tech reviewers are deceiving as the light is catching the glass making the back look like a gold bar.

Many people do call it the white one. If I had a phone that was mostly black, why would I call it anything else? Apple could tell me it's gold but I'd still call it black or black with gold trim. I'd never refer to it as my gold phone.

Okay. So they’re wrong. It’s called the silver one.

You’re missing the point. I don’t care what it’s called. The back of the gold phone is not gold. It’s also kind of ugly.

Hey Jonny Its Not Gold
Looks gold to me

Take a look at the CNET video which compares the gold of the XS to previous model gold iPhones. The XS is significantly “more gold” than previous years. I likey
