It's funny how a lot of MR members think they would run Apple better if they were in charge.

A few things with big implications in your list:
- 14" and 16" MBP, I assume you mean they would stay in the same format as now but without bezels? If so this is also complicated. Just look at the iPhone X and the whole notch debate. You can't just remove the bezels like that.
- The end of Fusion and HDD, absolutely! I'm guessing they're keeping them to be able to lower the prices of the low-end models but it's hurting the performance and giving a bad impression to non-tech people. We'll see what they do about it. They could at least get rid of the HDD and put back the 128GB in the 1TB fusion.
- AX processors in the MacBook and the Mac Mini. This is a big move, we'll see what Apple comes up with but they have to do it right.
- Face ID in the iMac would be nice. Since they didn't put it on the iMac Pro I'm not sure we'll see it soon though...

I’m just floating the idea to see what people think.

A few things with big implications in your list:
- 14" and 16" MBP, I assume you mean they would stay in the same format as now but without bezels?
That’s one way they could try to go, another is going with a 14.1 (4:3) or 13.6 (3:2) and 16.3 (4:3) or 15.7 (3:2) screen for the Pros while keeping the non-pros 12.0 and 14.0 (16:10). But if they just decided to make them bigger overall I think that would be fine too.

I'm guessing they're keeping them to be able to lower the prices of the low-end models
Or keep their margins high.

giving a bad impression to non-tech people.
I wouldn’t recommend these models to my family and friends (
).

- AX processors in the MacBook and the Mac Mini. This is a big move, we'll see what Apple comes up with but they have to do it right.
I think it would be clever to do it this way:

Mac Mini (A)
MacBook 12 (I)
MacBook 14 (A)
MacBook Pro 14 (I)
Mac Pro (both?)

Or they could have two Mac Mini models:

Mac Mini (AX)
MacBook 12 (m3)
Mac Mini (i5)
MacBook 14 (AX)
MacBook Pro 14 (i5)

Where the i5 model is at least $100-$200 more than the AX.

- Face ID in the iMac would be nice. Since they didn't put it on the iMac Pro I'm not sure we'll see it soon though...
You’re probably right, but I think it would make sense if they did it this way, because the iMac Pro is, IMO, clearly not meant for non-pros. So they’d likely only lose sales of iMac Pros to people that shouldn’t have been buying it anyway.

I guess Apple can't update every single Mac "in line" and it's all over the place, is because no one can halt way way through projects to focus on the "current" model at the time.. Wait for new hardware to come out, which would waste 6 month to a year, and suddenly we have all other models back-logged because you just wanna update in order of year

Don't think any Apple user would wanna wait extra 1 or 2 for an updated iPad. As least it would give the rumor mil a run for its money.

A real Pro machine: multiple SSD/HD bays, expansion slots and ports, upgradable video card, 8 RAM slots, mini tower chassis similar to the G5 (only smaller). In short, let the engineers do what they do best without having to cram everything into a soda can.
