I believe the rear has been reported as being two-tone with the camera module being a different colour to the glass back.
I like the two tone space grey colour above, but i doubt that rumoured image will ever see light.
The iPhone 16 Pro space grey model already has that colour scheme so it’s a distinct possibility!
I don't really mind this and it makes a lot more sense than just having it be metal. I know a lot of people are making the Pixel comparison with these phones, but I am curious if it serves any purpose to make the model that big, perhaps hiding something beneath or making room for something else.
No from reports and what google has done with their pixel 8 & 9 camera bar. The bar will feature bigger camera sensors and what not. The sensor will not intrude into the body of the phone and will be in the camera bar, paying way for bigger batteries.
This is according to Apple insider podcast.
I get the reason and at least it has a functional purpose….
in this example the only bumps are the three lenses though, the area around the lenses appears flush
