How are mail folders and subfolders handled?

Please don't try to convince me to use stars, archiving or other gmail-eque "modern" ways of storing emails

Bottom line: I'm a chronic email archiver. My IMAP accounts have no message or size limits.

On the iPhone, all my subfolders appear under the Inbox. I assume the iPad will do the same but I couldn't see that in any of the pix or short vids I saw.

Anyone happen to see/know?

It is the same app, just a tweaked interface that utilizes the iPad's real estate. This is of course an assumption, albeit an informed one.
