How Are Photos Uploaded to iCloud PhotoStream From an iPhone - Wi-Fi or Cellular..?

When you have iCloud PhotoStream enabled on your Iphone do the photos only upload to icloud when your iphone is connected to a WiFi network...
Or do they upload over your cell signal..?

is there any option to upload to photostream over your cell signal, or is it strictly limited to only upload over wifi..?

So what happens when you have icloud and photostream enabled on your iphone an take a pic but are not connected to any wifi networks..?

Will your iphone keep trying to connect to a wifi network to upload your pic to the cloud for a set amount of time before it just gives up, or how does that technical aspect of it all work exactly..?

1. It is limited only to wifi.
2. Nothing. The photos will then transfer when you connect to wifi.
3. I would say it's waiting for a wifi connection. When one becomes available it will transfer the pics. No time limit I've seen.

Control what goes into photo stream

You can take advantage of this to control what loads into your photo stream from your iPhone. Just turn off wifi while you are taking pictures. After you are done taking pictures, look through your camera roll and delete the ones you don't like. Then turn on wifi.
