I just bought a 160GB ATV and I'm trying to convert blades of glory to mp4... but MacTheRipper said there were bad sectors on the disk (new copy protection) and Handbrake is having the same errors through the previews. So neither of these programs seem to be able to rip anything other than DVD's protected by the long-since-cracked DVD encryption.

:(

Well handbrake passed by them, but it's a shame it's going to take 1.5hours (the movies length) to rip it.

I've run across the new scheme a few times, that's where I heard about the new MTR.

My Handbrake acts like it's ripping, but at a certain point the progress stops, but the FPS still shows 25 fps. It goes on and on until I force quit it.

I hope you have better luck.

Just got back from being away. Handbake got 1/4 the way through and wont respond.

I use Handbrake but I've also heard on some movies it doesn't work. It's not a global solution and is very title specific. Unsure how many titles can't be ripped from it but there's probably a list of known ones that won't rip with it.

I did Pirates 2 and the quality is very nice. I did a double pass and let it run while I slept and when I woke up (unsure HOW long it took) I had a very awsome quality mp4 to play with.
