Hi Guys,

I am interested to see how you are keeping your Apple Pencil with your iPad.

Do you have a case? Are you attaching it to your iPad?

Any reviews, recommendations, images?

Thanks!

I attached a pencil holder with a sticky back that attaches to the case. I got it from Amazon

Does the cover buddy allow you to use it in portrait mode?

From what I can see, it would tilt awkwardly if I tried (I have a 9.7)

Heavens yes. Even in a bag. Even on the Smart Keyboard. It stays on until you remove it.

May be a stupid thought, but would a strong magnet attached to the iPad impact some of the internal items?

Around the house or the office, my Pencil just sits near my IPP. When traveling the IPP goes in a zippered pouch along with my Pencil and earbuds.

Just an update - I went for the CoverBuddy, and to be honest, I am extremely impressed with it.

Thanks for the heads up Alli - Highly recommended to others.

I bought a Speck Pencil Folio but I returned it because it didn't take much for the pencil to fall out. Not all the reviewers are having this problem so it may be a manufacturing issue. I have an STM dux on order which is the back only. People say that the slot holds the pencil very securely. I'm considering downgrading to the Poetic Quarterback because I can leave the pencil cozy on, and, more importantly continue to use some sort of cushioned grip. I need more protection than the cover buddy offers because I've fumbled and dropped older iPads (they've continued to work, but still..)

Sometimes I attach a pen clip to it and clip that on to the case, works well.

But mostly, I just remember to pick it up whenever I leave a place.

After some more use with it, I can't recommend the case buddy enough!

The pencil fits perfectly, and there is no chance that it will come out unnecessarily. The case itself is very thin and light - Highly recommended!
