I have GoodReader, I purchased it the day after I got my iPad. I have not used it much except to view attachments in e-mails.

How are you using GoodReader? and what do you use it for most?

I use goodreader to grab large blocks of pdf files I want to carry around with me and still be able to read when I don't happen to have an internet connection. I also have airsharing hd. I'm thinking about getting readledocs because it is supposed to have a better user interface. The trouble is, if I download a file to one of these apps, the only way to open it in the other is to copy it there using the "open in airsharing" while in goodreader or "open in goodreader" while in airsharing. I have several redundant files on my iPad that wouldn't need to be there if the iPad had a true filesystem.

Goodreader allows me to get files via its built in browser, ftp and webdav (iDisk). Goodreader also allows me to upload files. If all you have is goodreader, it is really all you need. I bought air sharing before I realized everything goodreader could do. I like air sharing's interface better than goodreader and they say readledocs is better yet. But look at the difference in price. GR is only a buck! How can you go wrong? Don't worry. If you are new to the iPad, just wait a while. You will wonder how you ever got along without goodreader.

For lots... Yesterday I copy/pasted a link from atomic browser to download a zip file that contained a module for Adobe Lightroom, then when I synced I saved it to my computer and installed it. I also have all my manuals for appliances, and computer manuals on it.

Transferred an entire SharePoint support site (mainly wiki) using wifi. The site (links etc) works fine in GoodReader so I can support my customers even when offline. For me, a life saver :)

I use it to do photo slideshows for my porn that I store on usb keys, so as not to take up precious space on the actual ipad

I use it to store and view PDF files and documents that I need when I am away from my laptop. I also use it to save E-mail attachments that I might want later - after I have deleted the e-mail.

i save important Web pages (tutorials, references, etc.) as PDFs in Safari, and use Good Reader to read them when I have time. :)
