Hi guys,

Just got a new iPad Pro and pencil and am looking to make the best possible use for it I can.

Looking for ideas on apps for note taking so I can replace my daily planner and ink pen and any other tips and tricks you have for it?

so far already found it useful when simply replying to emails and stuff. Its great but I want to make sure I actually keep using it.

Thanks

I recently came across an app specific to the iPad Pro with Pencil called Nubo. Is anyone familiar with it and what do you think of it. The developer notes says that it will recognize natural handwriting and convert it to text. the notes also report that it will smooth out hand drawn diagrams.
The developer's website includes a demo video that looks really impressive. It reminds me of the features that I had with the Apple Message Pad 120 that I got back in 1996; only more modern and accurate. (I still have the Message pad and last year, when I checked it was still functional. Amazing tech for its time.)

I really like notability for note taking. There are quite a few planners that you can download intended for good notes and I have ended up putting my planner in that app (although you can use notability for them too) using notability for regular note taking and organizing my things, keeping a to do list etc as I really do like it for that. Nice thing is you can multitask having both apps up together So I can have notability with my to do list or other notes etc on one side and my planner on the other.

Notability!

Also, i use mine as a general pointer/stylus. A mouse stand in. Its hyper accurate compared to my fingers, has pixel perfect navigation/editing in Excel and Numbers and edits photos much easier.

I hardly ever use my fingers for ipad anymore.

I really like Nebo. I especially like the diagrams options. Once you get used to it, the handwriting recognition works pretty well too.
