Until today, we had only one itunes account and one ipod touch. Today, both myself and my partner purchased iPhones (16GB). What is the best way to configure iTunes to handle all of this. Should we have two seperate itunes accounts for each of us or can we have one itune account for the three devices? What configuration is best?

Thanks in Advance

*w/o looing at the cNet post* I'm pretty sure you can just set up 1 playlist for one iPhone, and another for the second, and then another for the iPod, and sync only that playlist. You can have 1 iTunes account for more than 1 iPhone. (If your other has her own computer, you can authorize that computer for her, and then she won't use the same songs [unless you download to both, which is free after you download to one], and also not the same apps, but it'd be under one account.)

Well I'm not sure what you want to have split: do you want the songs/library/music uploading part or the actual itunes account?

The music library is the same, no matter what account you're on. It just depends on the computer, as you upload music on. Making playlists seems like a good idea and if that's too much of a hassle, you could always put the ipod device settings to manually set up? That way you guys can both upload your music, keep it all in the library and just manually decide what to put onto your devices.

iTunes account is easy to keep seperate, as you can log out & back in.
But it's just for purchasing things, so unless you guys want to handle money individually, I'd just keep one account.
