It's no bigger than a sketch pad. A lot smaller than I thought it would be.

Depends on what you carry your stuff around in. Backpack or messenger bag will work, or if carrying it loose makes you happy then knock yourself out. I carry my laptop around in a messenger bag so that's what I would use.
