So how big is it? 400watts? 500? 700? more?

Just curious...because I am going to be using a lot of power....;)

I believe it's a 1000 Watt, Apple says the total power usage (most of it dedicated to the PCI Express slots) is 930 Watts.

I think we are gunna need some better numbers. Is that 930 with the system max'ed or the base config?
Peak or sustained?
Etc....

I know the G5 Quad has a 1000W PSU, and other PM G5's have 700W, but I just gotta ask, what is this redundant powersupply for the Xserve, I don't get it?:confused:

One fails, you have an instant backup.... Servers are all about redundancy.

Redundant means that if one should fail, another will take over.

So if one power supply should break, the other one will take over and the server wont go down.
