hey
so am wondering on devices such as the iPhone X or greater, or new iPad Pro’s which both do not feature a home button, how I can access/summon Siri without these devices having a home button.
I also do not want to use my voice, such as Hey Siri, since the goal is for me to have 4-6 iPads in front of me and I use each iPad for something different using Siri. Using Hey Siri would activate all 6 iPads in front of me and wouldn’t want that.
the good thing is with the current 6 iPads I have, this isn’t an issue. I have the following:
1. iPad 3
2. iPad Mini 2
3. iPad Air 1st Gen
4. iPad 7th Gen
5. iPad 2
6. iPad Air 2nd Gen
7. iPhone 6
8. iPhone 6S
9. iPhone 7 Plus
10. iPhone 8 Plus
the good thing is all these have home buttons so I use them whenever I want Siri to search of open something for me. But am wondering how I could make this work on newer iPads when the time comes for me to get the newer pros. This won’t be for a while but am wondering if this is an accessibility issue or some other workaround.
I know many ppl will say this is a dumb way to have a workflow but I’d much rather keep the devices than sell them for how ever littler they’re worth, especially considering since the majority of iPads are engraved in the back. (These were all diff. Family members in the past and they’ve since upgraded)
