How can I adjust keyboard backlight using the keyboard?

I'm on an M1 Air and I hate having to use a slider in control center to adjust the backlight brightness manually. I greatly miss the dedicated keyboard backlight brightness keys from my older Air. Is there a way to adjust backlight brightness with a keyboard input somehow?

Not sure if understood correctly, but there're F5 and F6 keys for that

My F5 is a microphone button and my F6 is a moon.
