Hi Ulense Thank you for the advice.

I'm a massive NOOB :(

Can you or anyone else please explain in better detail the "2. Run the following command: sudo bash /Library/LittleFlocker/uninstall.sh 3. Delete the rules on the system, which can be found in /Users/Shared/Little Flocker/."

You'll need to open the application Terminal.app from /Applications/Utilities/. This is like the old school DOS prompt.
When you installed LittleFlocker, it installed a small script in /Library/LittleFlocker, named 'uninstall.sh'. All this does is remove the application from your system by deleting the files it installed. By entering that command, you're saying you want to run it as an elevated privilege with sudo, invoke it with the bash shell, and tell the shell to run the script at /Library/LittleFlocker/uninstall.sh.

Step 3 is more or less optional. In Finder.app, locate /Users/Shared/Little Flocker and delete that directory. All this does is delete the rulesets that you created as you ran LittleFlocker. If you want to reinstall it later, you might want to keep these, but since the author of LittleFlocker sold the code to F-Secure and deleted it from GitHub, it's guaranteed to not have any more updates, so you might as well just wipe it clean.

WHAT is asking for your password? LittleFlocker, or the terminal when you run the command Greg mentioned? If it's the terminal, then it's asking for your regular Admin password (the one you use to log-in to your Mac).

Can you specify from which menu I should disable little flocker? I do not see any disable option opening the application.

Thanks.

You can close down Little Flocker and terminate all processes of it in Activity Monitor.

P.S.: Some interesting news about Little Flocker and its author.

[doublepost=1517407507][/doublepost]I have uninstalled Little Flocker and can find no trace of it but it loads every time I restart and takes over an hour before I get a prompt to disable it again. Meanwhile none of my aliases work and I cannot open Word, Acrobat etc. Or any files! HELP!

1. Open Activity Monitor. Look for "Little Flocker", if found force quit it.
2. Download EasyFind and search for "Little Flocker" entries. Delete all the "Little Flocker" hits. Be careful during this process.
3. Clean Trash.
4. Reboot.
