If you created the partition using Boot Camp than you should just be able to run the Boot Camp Assistant under OS X to delete the Ubuntu partition. I have Windows installed via Boot Camp and when I open Boot Camp Assistant the first thing it prompts me to do is to restore my disk to a single volume.
