My bank account password us saved in iCloud Keychain. Whenever I visit the website on my MBP in Safari, the login and password info automatically populate and all I have to press is "SIGN IN" and I can view my banking information.

However on my iPhone, running iOS14 whenever I open the app nothing populates and I have to tap "passwords" above the keyboard and search for "bank" and then I tap on my bank account login and then it populates into the app login screen and finally then tap "SIGN IN"

Wondering if I can modify this at all so I log in easily on my iOS14 devices. It's fluid and easy on my MBP but not so much on my iPhone and iPad.

A lot of banking apps don't allow automatic input in that manner. Conversely, many allow the use of Face ID or Touch ID, once your password has been confirmed. Check your banking app settings.

Thats funny, the app login home page specifically encourages Touch ID. Guess there's the answer.

Thank you.

I don't use Touch ID at all (or Face ID) I prefer using a passcode. If there was a way to have Touch ID only for my 1 banking app and NOT to unlock my iPhone I'd be down.

No, there is not.

From a security standpoint, it is better to manually input your banking information on the phone.
