Hi there,

I've just moved to the US from the UK and wondered if someone could help with a query. I'm on the UK iUP and will need to somehow return or sell my X when the new models come out.

I currently have a corporate sim in my X and according to the apple website I wouldn't be able to sign up to the iUP in the US with my corporate number as it's not an eligible account. Is there another way to get onto the US iUP without having sign up to a regular plan with AT&T? As my corporate phone is my main phone I don't want to spend another $70 pm on a regular plan.

Do iPhones launch sim free here in the US as they do in the UK.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

SIM-free phones are not part of the IUP here in the US, unfortunately. You'll only be able to get on the plan if you sign up for a cellular plan as well.
