I've made a presentation in Keynote, and I want to save it as a PDF. When i look at it in Keynote, there is no white background. But when I export or print as a PDF, there are white bars above and below my slides.

How can I get rid of that?

From some experimentation, if I Export to PDF, I don't get any white bars when opening that PDF with Preview. If I Print that PDF, I will get white bars because it's fitting the PDF onto an A4 piece of paper. I can get rid of the white by selecting the Fill Page option in the Print dialogue box.

If I Print directly from Keynote I get the white bars for the same reason.

If you don't want the white bars, then make your slide the same size as your paper.
