How can I get text to antialias on my Windows partition?

Does anyone know how I can achieve antialiased text in my Windows partition? Every other aspect of the system looks perfect, but the appearance of text without the smoothing is quite a difference from your standard Windows PC.

Sounds like you just need to turn antialiasing on. You'll find it in Display Properties/Appearance. Hit the 'effects' button and you'll see the checkbox. You have two alternatives - cleartype is the better quality of the two.
