how can i get work experience at a apple store - the upcoming southampton west quay

hey
im 14 and next year our school has set us 2 weeks of work experience. I would love to do it in a apple store and as there is one set up in west quay which is really close to me I would want to do it there. How would I go getting a placement? is there any form on the website or what should i do?

Write a polite letter to the manager once it opens and ask if they'll give you two weeks' work experience. Stress your knowledge and love (if appropriate) of Apple's products and your willingness to work hard and learn. Call up the store before you send the letter to find out the name of the manager, to give the letter a more personal touch.

If you want, a few days after sending the letter, go in to the store (take a copy of the letter with you, in case it's been mislaid) and ask to speak to the manager. Introduce yourself, ask if the manager has had a chance to consider your request and take it from there.

does anyone know when the apple store will open
the front of the building now its painted black wood and has http://www.apple.com and the apple logo in big on the front of it so work is starting i know.

Looks like they are still advertising for a store manager and all other staff, so I'd guess that it's not going to be open very soon.
