I've been searching google and youtube and I can't seem to find a way to hide the Dock. I just want to remove it so that my wallpaper will show through better...

Here are a couple examples of what I'm looking for:

ihavenoidea.png

Capture.png

Yup I'm jailbroken, so I have to SSH and then where can I find the original dock.png to replace it?

Thanks for the help Four20, but I just want to SSH into the iphone and replace the original dock.png with the transparent one I've made, anyone know how?

I just need to find the folder it's located in please..:(

/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/

It'll be a .png in the Springboard.app folder.

Or you can simply enable Transparent Dock in WinterBoard?
A lot easier.

Thank you! I didn't want to install Winterboard on my iPhone, but it worked, YES! and that's good enough for me.
