iPad How can I import passwords from my imac's safari?

I recently got a ipad 10.5. It's running IOS 13. My other machine is a imac 5k running Mojave. How can I share website passwords between the two machines? At present, the ipad has no website passwords... which is a right pain, since most of my web accounts use randomly generated secure passwords.

Make sure Keychain is on in iCloud for both the iMac and the iPad.
