I got a new imac a few days ago and migrated my old imac to it. Now my macbook pro is having trouble connecting to it over the network.
In finder, I can go to the new imac, but when I click on desktop, I get booted out with the "this operation cannot be completed because the original item for "Desktop" can't be found." I've tried resetting both machines a few times, I've deleted and re logged into the wifi network, and I've tried longing into both with my icloud account as well as just using the admin name and password.
I can go the OTHER way just fine, I can log into the imac and access the macbook pro just fine. How can I fix this? Thanks!
