I need to play Blu-Ray on my mac pro 07. What external or internal drive do i need??
Thanks!

This may be a stupid question, but Toast gave me the impression that I can watch Blu-Ray on my laptop. Because when Toast Titanium 8 is installed, it asks if you want to add support for Blu-Ray. I was wondering if I could see one on my MacBook.

No, unless you're using an external bluray and booting in windows

Any BD drive will work, but many seem to have issues such as constantly spinning up or preventing the computer from sleeping. I'd do a search in the forums to see all of the relevant information.

In any case there isn't an easy way to watch a BD in OS X. You either need to rip to hard drive first, watch it in Windows, or do this complicated streaming thing involving MakeMKV, VLC, URLs, text files, and other **** that basically makes it a hobby unto itself.

Toast can burn Blurays as it's burning software, but it's not playback software.
