How can i reduce size of "slide to unlock" area

I changed the slider on my lock screen but i can slide it by touching a totally different area. How can I shrink the area so that i actually have to slide on my slider?

uh i dont know the answer to this question, but what are you using to display your information, like the weather and stuff? is it lockinfo? i have it installed but i havnt messed around with it much.
