Hi there, how can I uninstall al cydia tweaks with the tweaks settings?

everytime I uninstall a cydia tweak and when I install it again the settings or options of the tweaks doesn't change like if it saved somewhere else.

How can I uninstall them so when I install them again it was like for the first time?

If I restore my phone and then restore from backup all the settings of cydia tweak are also installed or backedup even if it is not jailbroken.

I do not want to start from a fresh restore because it will uninstall all apple app with it save games and apps with it's progress.

If you have iFile or use iFunbox or similar check in var/mobile/library/preferences and delete the uninstalled Cydia apps from there.

I usually take a screenshot when installing tweaks to remember what dependencies go with what tweaks also like so..

Delete the necessary plists from /var/mobile/Library/Preferences.

1. is this preference folder only for cydia tweaks or for also apple app store apps?
2. what are these plist. What would happen if I delete all the .plist in the preference folder?

It would revert any setting you changed within any app on your phone. That's why I said just the necessary plists. :p

Just avoid com.apple.xxxx plists and you'll be fine.

You can also use iCleaner from cydia to delete the jailbreak related plist files if you'll feel safer that way...

I just told you how. If you avoid com.apple.xxxx plists and only delete the plists related to your cydia tweaks, you'll be completely fine.

do not delete all or else you'll be put into a boot loop!

just look through the entire folder and delete the plist files of the tweak names you recognize

I deleted all plists except com.apple.xxx and after I install they install without the previous settings but they install in the same place they were before. For example, if I install them again, they will install in the same folder they were before I uninstall them.

I don't understand...you re-installed your tweaks and the settings were at the defaults, which is what you wanted. Are you saying that the plist files come back? They're supposed to.

After you delete them with iFile, check your trash and make sure to empty it. Tap edit in the top right then tap on the trash can at the bottom.

Edit: Just re-read your post. I am confused. What do you mean they keep installing to the same folder?!? I thought you were trying to remove saved settings?

I mean, when I delete the plists and Install it again, the tweak or program like springtomize that have icons, they install again inside the same folder they were in the springboard. They do not install in order like when you install a new app.

Is there a way to restore the phone with still the jailbreak (like if you jailbreak the phone for the first time) without uninstalling the apple app store apps with their progress?

Dumb question....why does that matter? The layout is probably saved in your springboard icon layout, but I really don't see why them installing to the folder you originally put them in is an issue.

try not to be so anal....sometimes things are just wonky and there's no way around it...as long as everything works and isn't giving you any problems just enjoy!
