I just upgrade my mac from a T2300 to a T2600, I applied the thermal paste pretty good but with the heatsink just having 3 plastic pins that hold it down instead of 4(one broke) im kinda worried about it overheating. It's been running great for almost 2 hours now (while installing the mac os x disc)....well is there a way I could view the temperature of the cpu (instead of waiting for my mac to shutdown unexpectedly)?

thanx....oh and would you happen to know the normal or average temp. of a mac mini (1.66 Ghz model(2007))?:)

Normal running temperature (everyday tasks) is aprox. 122-140 F; for resource draining tasks is aprox. 170-200 F.
