How can I write a file on macbook and transfer to iphone to email it

Hi, I am currently working away from my office. I am writing documents on my macbook that I need to then email. Is there any way to transfer text files from the macbook to the iphone and then email them using the iphone? Where I am working does not have a wifi network so I cannot use the wireless network unless there is someway to directly connect my phone to the laptop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

PS. My phone is not jailbroken

You can't, without a Wi-Fi network, unless your jailbroken. Is there a Starbucks or McDonalds that you can go to for free Wi-Fi? Most hotels have Wi-Fi networks too.

Am working in an industrial estate in Spain, no wifi for 15 miles! What I might try is write it in text edit, copy and paste into mail and save as draft, sync via cable and then send. Not perfect but it'll work until Apple allow me to do otherwise. Thanks

A draft MIGHT MIGHT work. I don't know though.

There's an iPhone app called ACTPrinter from Houdah software. It's a fee app I think and there's a seperate small app to be installed on your Mac. The app on the computer installs an option when you "print" a document. At the bottom, you can "print to iPhone" at which point the document is downloaded to the iPhone. From there you can email your document. From what I can see you don't need to have a wifi connection, just have a wifi card in your computer. Its actually a brilliant way to get documents onto your iPhone.

This is very helpful information but the OP wanted to put it on his iPhone to email it since he doesn't have Wi-Fi for use with his MacBook.

Yeah my bad on that one. I was at work and on the website it said that you just needed a card and not a connection. When I tried it out at home without the network on it told me I needed the wifi connection.
