Hi guys!
Sorry for my bad English, I hope you can understand me anyway.
I tried to write with my pencil on an old note and I noticed that I can't draw any line on the old text. A yellow line appears on the screen just below the last line of the old text and I can draw whatever I like under that line, but nothing over it.

Can I move or delete that yellow line so I can draw lines anywhere in the screen? At this moment I can't underline, circle, highlight the old text of the note or even write something near or in between the old text.

Thanks

That's a great question! I have Googled how to with no results. I also would like to know how to annotate old typed saved notes, but you cannot draw in the same space as typed notes. I tried highlighting, underlining...nope, nada. There has got to be a way.

Well, I did some more research, and found that the pen cannot interact with typed notes. So, no underlining or highlighting. Annotating is a no go when it comes to typed text in Apple notes. I went to Apple's official support community, and a couple of YouTube videos to find this out.:( There is a work around. You can screenshot your note, then you can annotate the screenshot. Kinda sucks that you can't annotate typed notes.

That being said, here is an exceptional and totally free notes app for iPad I recommend you try out. Rivals the expensive paid notes apps, and has no ads. One of my favorites.
