Hi, I canceled my subscription to Spotify so I could move to Apple Music, and now I am starting to regret it, the main reason is I can't get my subscription to work.
I have family sharing enabled and my father is the administrator and he is paying for apple music family plan, thing is I simply can't join my family, I have signed out, deleted myself from the family and re added nothing seems to work and have not found any answers for this issue.
Does anyone know a fix for this?

Other two things that I can't stand are:
- I can't download all my songs or select many at once, all I could do was add all songs to a playlist, then select make available offline, but for some reason this doesn't work, I wait for all songs to download but once I am disconnected all song are gone. All I can do is download songs from my library one by one or by artist for it to work.

- Other really frustrating thing is whenever I log out of my Apple ID on my phone, all my songs are gone again and have to redownload every single one of them!

Any help would be appreciated!
 
You do NOT enable Family Sharing only the Admin. The Admin has to invite you and then you must accept to become a member.

sorry it seems I made a mistake when explaining, the admin has family sharing enabled and I as a member accepted, it's been working perfectly for some time now, but Apple Music does not work, it's the only feature that seems to not recognize family sharing

Is it possible he reached the 5 member limit. Even deleting you may still be counted towards the 5 total.

We are 5 people in the family, and apple music allows six accounts so that shouldn't be the problem. Really frustrating.

Too bad but it seems I am going back to Spotify.
 
I am going back to Spotify, after really liking Apple Music during the three month trial, it has been impossible for me to get my family plan subscription working, I've sent several emails and Apple Support seems to know less about their service than I do, so I gave up. Hope Apple sorts this thing out is not acceptable.w

Makes no sense. Had absolutely no problem enabling other on my family plan for AM. Did you think about stopping by an Apple store to see the Genus bar?

Actually I'm not in the US so my only support option was via mail which was completely useless. I already switched back to Spotify, I didn't want to because I think Apple Music does a much better job recommending me music but I like more the Spotify interface and I don't like the fact that each time I sign out of my icloud account all my song are deleted and I have to redownload them all again

Where do you live exactly? The Apple Store has been expanded to quite a lot of countries now. If you have to re-download music every time, it seems like there is some problem for you alone. It's probably not to all users. Contact Apple support maybe?

Totally agree about AM downloading.
