When I am using apps such as Twitter on iPad and I would like to post photos from my iCloud Drive, I cannot choose from iCloud Drive. I have to copy the photo from iCloud Drive to photo app and then upload it. I think this function is very basic and not hard to think of... two thumbs down

That's for Twitter to update their app to iPadOS functionality. It's not a shortcoming of the OS itself, but a restriction the app developer has posed on the user. You can, however use copy and paste from the files app, or use drag and drop to Twitter. Many apps have this restriction set by the developer and I hate it. It's like they are stuck in time. The Files browser has been part of iOS for quite a while, but many developers won't adapt their app to include it.

If you’ve ever been inside of one of these software development labs like I have, many people would be surprised to know it’s probably not that the company won’t adapt their product to stuff like what The Man is talking about. It’s just that they don’t know they should and they don’t listen to their users enough to realize it,

A lot of times what happens is a piece of software gets a lot of enthusiasm as it is being originally developed. But then interest wanes and people don’t pay it as much attention even if it is making the company a lot of money.

Blame Twitter for that one.
