Can you purchase Apple Watch apps without an iPhone? I do most of my app research and shopping from my iPad. I just tried finding Apple Watch app "Autosleep" in the App Store app, but it doesn't showing up in search results while using my iPad.

If I cannot use my iPad to shop for Apple Watch apps, what can I use? Google wasn't much help on this matter. :/

Apple Watch requires an iPhone. End of story. An iPad won't cut it, and Google won't help either.

Shop or review? Something like Watchaware.com lets you browse watch apps on their watchapps section. It's pretty nicely done (I'm not affiliated with them in any way...)

But buy? Only on the phone as far as I know. The iPhone Watch app store section is another place to browse.

Ideally both. I don't bring my phone with me everywhere. if I have some downtime and want to shop for new Watch apps, it would be nice to be able to do so.
