Good question. I wish it was like a live photo where it adds the icon when viewing them in photos so you know. But its kind of hard to tell unless you zoom into a photo and notice the new detail. I just took a photo of my backpack and its super sharp and i can see the fibers.

When you take the photo, click on the photo and you’ll see it skip/jump for a quick second.

I believe the only way to know is the file size, Deep Fusion photos are around twice the size.

It's best to have more and not use it than to have less and start worrying about space.

I went with the 512GB iPhone 11 Pro just for that reason.
