When i had my first iphone and jailbroke it there were so many apps like games themes and etc how come they arent on the new ones

when the iphone was updated to 2.0 a lot of apps got broken. Instead of rewriting them for cydia, the devs saw the legitimate business they could have in the app store. So most of the things you are looking for either were broken or moved into the app store. After all, the app store can give you a much wider install base than cydia.

Developers with legitimate apps logically started distributing through App Store where they would reach a far wider audience and potentially revenue.

You'll still find a couple of good games on Cydia, but most importantly, Cydia is now for utilities and the like which wouldn't by any means be allowed on the App Store.

Exactly. App store= games, cydia= utilities and cool stuff apple won't allow.
