How different is the fit between the Airpods 2 and 3?

Just curious. I don’t use Airpods super often because they give me a headache, but I’d like to grab a pair for listening to music while walking in the mornings.

I’d like to just buy the cheapest ones, but if the Airpods 3 have a much better fit, I might consider those.

They fit slightly different so just depends. However, if the previous design gave you issues the new design probably will as well.

The Airpods 3 fit much better for me and stay in place while running. I had issues with my original airpods falling out as they sit much looser in my ear. The 3's are definitely a bit bigger/more bulbous so it's just going to come down to your particular ears.
