One potential customer not want to use my solution because fear their employees use the iPhone as entertainment device (my app is a POS app).

So I wonder if is possible disable some apps from the iPhone (maybe put it invisible?) so the employee can't use it for game or entertainment.

Any acceptable workaround (like jailbreaking then ???) is ok.

I understand is a kind of *stupid* request anyway, but in my line of work is a common complain for this kind of solution. So, I'm not interested in hear how patetic is the requeriment (I KNOW!!), but in how disable/hide/block others app.

In the perfect scenario, they want only the POS app + Calculator + Notes + Watch. In the worst, the POS APP + Calculator + Notes + Watch + Calendar + Mail.

Note they not want easy acces to preferences, safari, itunes, music, photos, videos, youtube (hell nooo) or install non-aproved apps (so, zero cahnce to iFart here).

Hip hip hurra for extrange corporate requeriments!!!

there are parental controls in the settings, you can remove youtube, mail, safari, ipod, the app store, the itunes store, and the camera. If you want to remove more you will have to jailbreak.
