How do I access folders on an external HD using "go to" in Finder?

Hi, just created an account here to ask one question..
I have recovered my hard drive from my old Mac and have it plugged into my new one. How do I access the hidden Library folder that you usually access using "~/Library/Application Support"? Except the one that is on my old Hard Drive?

Should be /Volumes/externaldrivename/Users/username/Library/Application Support
