>>I was hoping to do this also to see what books are available.<<
Exactly.
>>It seems that the only way to access to iBookstore is straight off the iPad <<
Humm.
>>through the iBooks App (which you will be able to see in the App Store through iTunes on your Mac)<<
<g>... so I have to go to iTunes to get the iPad app, to view books on iPad, but can't view them on iTunes.... strange, but I think I understand.
>>So you will need an iPad even if just to browse.<<
Do you know offhand if the books are "reasonably" priced.. or should I say "competitively" priced???
>>iBooks is not currently available on iPhone, however Steve has announced that it will be available when iPhone OS 4.0 is released later this year.<<
Kinda funny. I can read books via a Kindle app on my iPhone, but not iBooks.
Oh well.
Thanks for the info.
