How do I actually get my iDisk into the cloud?

So i Have Mobile Me and my iDisk pops up on my desktop so what i did was copy some music into the music folder on my iDisk but all it did was copy them to a nother space on my Mac HD (i could see the free space decrease on both my idisk and my HD. BUT when i look at my iDisk through me.com there is nothing uploaded?

SO how do i actually upload stuff to my iDisk?

you probably have mirroring turned on. Try turning that off (you'll get a of f hard disk space back) or try syncing. Go into you mobileme preferences and tell it to sync. I have the sync menubar item turned on which is nice for manual syncing.
