All Devices How do I add contacts to a group on icloud.com ?

using safari on an ipad pro (i don't have a mac) and i can't seem to do this
no drag and drop
can't seem to do it in contacts either
any help appreciated

You either need to use a desktop computer, or, get an app that does group editing.

To quote Apple:

You can see groups in iCloud.com on an iPad. However, you must sign in to iCloud.com on a Mac or Windows computer to add a contact to a group.

i don't have a computer, can you point me to an app that will allow me to do this ? thanks a lot

Sorry, I have not used an app for group management, as I have always used my Mac or iCloud.com on desktop for groups.

Just go to App Store and search on "Contact groups".

It’s pretty ridiculous that you can’t manage groups on the apple device where you need to be able to the most.
