how do I block "thoughtsuccess.net"?

I am constantly getting mail from "support@thoughtsuccess.net". They come into junk mail but I try to check junk before I forget about it.

How can I permanently BLOCK "support@thoughtsuccess.net?

I'm no sure I understand your problem. The mail is going into your junk folder so it's being removed from your inbox. That isn't what you want?

Yes, I agree, the spam is working, BUT I am cautious about destroying junk mail before I know it is really junk mail, and it's a hassle clicking upon it to make sure it is really junk or keepers. Maybe it's my hangup, but I am really uneasy just ignoring the junk folder completely.

Am I wrong. Should I completely ignore junk? What if a piece isn't junk, but mistakenly goes to junk?

Sure would like to always send too trash the "thought success.net"!

Who's your mail provider? Maybe you could set up a filter at the server level.

So even if this particular sender is blocked you should still periodically check your Junk mail right?

You can possibly block using your mail providers spam facility if there is one but I can't see the point or need. Are you saying that even if mail from this sender is received in Junk you find yourself forced to open it to confirm it REALLY is Junk before deleting it? So even if you block it, how long before you start to worry if you are blocking genuine mail some how coming from that sender (ie what you are worried about right now)?

create a filter to send mail from "support@thoughtsuccess.net" straight to trash, this way you'll never see it, same as if you had blocked it which is what you want, right?

To make the filter, I receive internet and mail from Comcast, but the address the spam uses is a Gmail account of mine. Where do I go to make the filter, Google Mail, or Comcast?

You can filter on fields other than address, such as Date, Subject, or something in the message body. Surely there is something unique that identifies this mail as coming from thoughtsuccess.net? Perhaps in the body of the message?

You never said in your opening post what email client you are using when you get these messages.
If you are using Apple mail then that is where you would create the filter.

Made several filters to DELETE anything with the address or from in Apple Mail, but it wasn't enough. I have now gone to Gmail and made several more filters to DELETE anything w the same from, etc. Doing it in Apple Mail did not stop the emails from getting through. Maybe Gmail filters will stop the emails, will report back.

Of course the filters would not stop the email from getting through.
It has to get through for the Apple Mail filter to work on it and send it to the trash.
Now maybe if your email is being forwarded to you from Gmail, a Gmail filter can be created
to stop those emails from getting to you, but that's still just a "maybe".
