Howdy all!

I am attempting to install Windows 7 on a 3 TB HDD that I recently installed on my 2011 iMac. As there is a 2.2 TB limit on using Bootcamp, I am trying to use the workaround from the following website.

https://www.twocanoes.com/support/w...-tb-or-larger)-drive-in-lion-(10.7)-and-later

The problem I keep running into is that when I create new partitions on my HDD, those partitions always end up being identified as disk0s5 and/or disk0s6. I cannot for the life of me figure out to make the bootcamp partition disk0s4, as required by the process.

Is there a way to create a partition into a specific "s#"? Or to rename the disk identifier once created?

Run the command below in Terminal and tell us the output. It will show the drive layout.

Code:
diskutil list
