How do I change/set Open/Save As Window size?

Hi... my window size for opening/saving is all messed up. 😢
Anyone know how i can make it bigger & keep it that way?
Nothing is working??

(& the side pane is always hidden...
i want to resize that too)

Big Sur v11.1 has destroyed my Save/Open window dialogue window. The sidebar is so small and I have to resize the window each and every time i use a Save/Open dialogue window. It's extremely frustrating!

There's already a long discussion about this bug in another thread here. Send the bug report to Apple using the Feedback Assistant app. There is no fix as of yet for this bug, which was introduced in the Big Sur 11.1 update.

A) I did say "According to reports." I don't know that it is true.
B) I have no idea when apple will release 11.2, but I would guess it will be in within the next month or so.

I will be a while until the stable 11.2 is released, the new Beta just came out...

That’s depressing. This bug is driving me insane. I normally wouldn’t even consider it but is there a way to download and use the beta version?

the beta version still has the bug haha ... i have worse problems, our power went out, now everything on my external drive is all mixed up & i don't know what to do

I am so frustrated at the amount of time I spend dragging corners of windows EVERY TIME I save a file ... this is a horrible bug that affects my workflow
