How do I change the order of the work home mobile for individual contacts?

Im using Yahoo contacts on the Iphone, and synch with Itunes (Windows XP)
Each contact has the list in random order some have Mobile as first number, others have Home or Business..

Is there a way to setup universal settings!!??

I don't think there is a way to do this directly on the iPhone, but I believe it can be done using Address Book on the Mac.

I was able to get this to work for new contacts but it did not reset the old ones. Using a Mac and Address Book, go to Preferences and template and set the order you want to see the numbers, e-mail, and addresses.

Ok but how is this done for users with XP only?

Im asking for a friend who is an XP user and just got the Iphone..
